What is Hash Rate?
Hash rate is the primary measure of a processing unit's speed in crypto mining. It represents the number of double-SHA256 (or other algorithm) computations a hardware device can perform every second. A higher hash rate increases the probability of finding the next block and receiving a mining reward.
How to Calculate Hash Rate Manually
The fundamental formula for hash rate is straightforward:
Hash Rate = Total Hashes / Time in Seconds
For example, if your ASIC miner completes 1,000,000,000,000 hashes in 1 second, its hash rate is 1 TH/s (Terahash per second).

Calculating Mining Efficiency
