Let's say you want to calculate the annualized attrition for your company based on data from Q1 (3 months):
- Employees on Jan 1: 200
- Employees on March 31: 210

Step 1: Average Headcount = (200 + 210) / 2 = 205
Step 2: Q1 Attrition Rate = (6 / 205) x 100 = 2.93%
